Novobi’s Manufacturing Visibility Theme Resonates with Attendees at HOUSTEX 2025, Highlighting Industry Need for Unified ERP Solutions
Novobi successfully concluded its participation as an exhibitor at the Manufacturing Technology Series Southwest (Houstex), held from November 4–6, 2025, at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.
The company’s booth and presentations centered around the theme of Manufacturing Visibility, demonstrating how an Odoo-based ERP solution delivers the critical visibility and control manufacturers require to enable faster, smarter, and more profitable decisions.
Throughout the three-day event, Novobi consultants engaged with numerous attendees and industry peers, showcasing how visibility is essential for operational success across an organization:
- Sales teams require visibility into availability and delivery schedules.
- Production and shop floor teams need real-time data on inventory, schedules, equipment availability, and performance metrics.
- Quality teams rely on visibility to enable proactive responses to Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) processes.
- CFOs need clarity on delays, costs, rework, and their subsequent impact on financial performance.

The event featured Novobi’s well-attended talk, “Manufacturing Visibility: How Odoo + Novobi Enables Data-Driven Decisions for Productivity, Quality, and Financials.” The session provided an engaging discussion on how manufacturers can leverage Novobi’s expertise to gain actionable insights into sales forecasting, production planning, quality control, and financial analysis, all within a unified management system.
A survey conducted at the Novobi booth confirmed the industry’s significant challenges with existing systems. Key findings show:
- Forecasting is the Top Pain Point: Nearly half of respondents (48%) cited “improving forecasting and planning accuracy” as the visibility area that would most benefit their business.
- Widespread Visibility Gaps: A majority of respondents (76%) reported “having moderate or poor real-time visibility into their production, inventory, and financials.”
The survey results reinforce that many manufacturers are “limited by disconnected systems that impede growth and optimization,” a Novobi representative stated. “Our presence at Houstex allowed us to show leaders how a unified ERP platform like Odoo, implemented with Novobi’s expertise, can directly address these issues by providing a single source of truth for all operational and financial data.”
The event concluded with a giveaway drawing, with representatives from Highland Automations and Manufacturing ROI selected as winners of Ray-Ban eyewear.
