Ha has over 15 years of experience in building large-scale and mission-critical applications in Healthcare and Retail. Prior to joining Novobi, Ha was a lead software architect at Arvato Systems, a global IT consulting firm with 3,000 staff in 25 locations worldwide, where he provided SAP Hybris and Cloud Consulting Services to several enterprise clients. He was also in charge of performance testing and improvement for several large-scale eCommerce systems.
Before joining Arvato, Ha was a software engineer at CVS Caremark where he helped build several applications for the Medicare Part D PBM business: Prior Authorization, E-Prescription Billing, and Claim Processing. Prior to that, Ha was a lecturer at Hochiminh City University of Technology where he taught software engineering, design patterns, and programming courses.
Ha is an AWS certified Solution Architect, Oracle certified Enterprise Java Architect, and SAP certified Hybris eCommerce Professional.
Ha holds a master’s degree from the University of Utah – School of Computing, an MBA from the University of Utah – School of Business, and a bachelor’s degree from Hochiminh City University of Technology – Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering.
Liem has over 12 years of experience in IT and has worked on the full stack of technologies, ranging from IC design, embedded systems to SaaS and mobile applications. Liem is passionate about the application of technology to solve life’s problems, especially in healthcare and business competitiveness.
As a co-founder of Novobi, Liem setup and led the team to build SaaS healthcare applications based on Meaningful Use program since its early days. Overtime, he initiated a lean software development process that embraces agility via Scrum and maturity via CMMI framework.
Liem has helped several clients in the healthcare industry adopt AWS with different HIPAA-compliant usage patterns, from backup/disaster recovery to hybrid adoption and all-in cloud deployment. Liem is passionate about improving IT productivity and efficiency via advanced DevOps and monitoring in AWS, as well as the future of micro services and serverless architectures.
Liem is an AWS certified Solution Architect, AWS certified SysOps Admin, and PMI certified Project Manager.
Liem holds a Master’s degree in Business Information System from Heilbronn University, Germany and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Hochiminh City University of Technology, Vietnam.
